Great question!

1) Not worrying how to pay the credit card bill.

2) Not worrying how to pay the late fees on the car or mortgage payment, or other bills.

3) Not worrying how to pay for groceries.

4) Not worrying how to pay for emergencies or unforseen eventualities.

5) Seeing oneself as a financially responsible person /
Not seeing oneself as a slave to whim & advertising.

6) Knowing one is a good & uncommon example for others in the area of money.

7) Knowing that this good habit can lead to helping others in the future, either by showing them what you will have done, or by helping them with your money.

8) Having some $ for donating to your favorite charitable organization.

9)Recognizing that this is part of learning delayed gratification, an aspect of self control which is one of the marks of a mature human being.

Emotional? yes. Physical? YES! Physical and monitorial achievement, no matter what anyone tells you will make you a happier person. Getting that car that you always wanted....The entertainment system that you have always dreamed of. Saving gives you a physical reward and and emotional one at the same time while building personality and mental strength.

for me when i save money i feel that i am doing something good, that ia ma making wiser decisions which in the long run will pay off. saving money a little bit here and there makes you feel more responsible, more grown up and like you are taking charge in your own hands.
