you can get pregnant any time during your cycle, even when you are having your period.
When you are ovulating the odds are obviously higher though.
I admire you - I am 47 and have had 3 children and never in all my life have I ever felt one of my eggs making its way down the tube. I couldn't even tell you what that feels like, but trust me - you can conceive any time during age 10 and 50.

Ummm, it is very unlikely that you are feeling the egg move down the tube. That is a microscopic event. You could maybe feel slight pain when the egg is near ovulation or as it releases. But not comign down the tube.
Second, you are fertile up to 7 days before you ovulate and up to 24 hours after the egg is released. You can get pregnant before and during ovulation and only 24 hours afterward. Ovulation is not a time period--it is a single event--the egg being released. The egg dies on its way down your fallopian tubes if it isn't fertilized.
An ovulation kit detects an LH surge (this trigers ovulation). The LH surge happens 1-2 days before you actually ovulate. It would be negative after ovulation has occured.
**It isn't the sticky quality cervical fuid that is fertile--it is the wet and slimy/slippery stuff that is fertile quality. Eggwhite-like.

Your feeling it? Highly unlikely. You can get pregnant before, during and after ovulation. So this is told to me by my doctor. Meaning up to 2 days before you ovulate, the day you ovulate, and 1-2 days immediatley after.

Your fertile days are those days when you are wet and sticky (about 6 days after your period). It takes the warm, moist environment in order to fertilize the egg. You may still also be fertile a day after that sticky feeling since you can still be warm and wet inside.

Go for it!!! If you know your body that well, then you know when you're ovulating. If the "feeling" that you feel is pain, then I know exactly what you are talking about. Good luck!
