I am 31 weeks pregnant and the middle of my stomach feels bruised and everytime the baby moves it hurts really badly. This is my third pregnancy and I do not remember this with the other two. Any ideas?

Hey Luv!

Congrats on the pregnancy!

You must keep in mind that every pregnancy is different. I too am 31 weeks preg (due 12/23) and this baby is soo much more active than the last, and the result is bruised ribs, and a sore stomach!!

I am sure nothing's wrong... Just your little ballerina or foot bal player is practing for his/her grand entrance. Enjoy!

I am due to have my baby soon too. My problem is my pelvic bone feeling broozed. My doctor told me that the more pregnancies you have, the harder on your body. Oh, this is also my third pregnancy. You should definelty let your doctor know what is going on. S/He will probably tell you that you need to rest more- which I know is imposible having 2 others at home.

I have this with my twins. They're really strong, and kick alot. And, my belly is expanding more than it ever did. I'm 31 weeks, and measure full term. It hurts! My OB says it's all normal.

But...you're in the last stretch so hang in there!

After two children, your body changes a little as you age a little. Your child is just moving a lot and possibly this baby will be a little bigger than the others. Just keep clam and keep stress free.

Good luck

probably just the baby moving so strongly. I would mention it to my doc. if I were you though. I am having the same issues and also down in my pubic area..just the pressure and him moving is what my doc. said to me. Congrats on your pregnancy and hope that everything works well for you!
