men can (act) macho ??? I really don't get it ... I mean there is no need for that , I know that all men don't act like that , but those who do oh boy ,,, just too sad...what do you think??????????

A real man recognizes that he has feminine traits and he embraces them.. all this macho stuff that some guys exhibit is a front to hide their insecurities.

They do it for each other!!! Although I'm kidding, there's some truth to it.
Men act macho because they're insecure. They think it isn't "manly" to admit their insecurities or especially to talk about them, so they show off. What they don't know is that we respect them for admitting their insecurities and talking about them. It makes us like them even more!!
Several years ago, I was the assistant teacher in a martial arts class. One of the guys had just lost his match. His response? He tore his shirt in half and then threw it in my direction. He truly wasn't trying to throw it at me, but it ended up on me. I made him pick it up, which completely embarrassed him since this did happen in front of the entire class! After class I pulled him aside and told him that what had taken place just wasn't cool with me. I explained to him, with "kid gloves" of course, that ripping his shirt in half because he was mad was only showing off how immature he was, nothing more. He apologized and thanked me for explaining things to him that way. We've been good friends ever since. But he did it because he was feeling insecure and feeling like a failure. Every guy I've ever known has acted this way and it has always been about insecurities!!!
It could also mean he likes you and is afraid that you'll reject him. Again, an insecurity. Never take it personally!

It's a insecurity issue, to some men to be "macho is to be accepted" you are right that is sad.

i really hate it when i guy trys to act all tough. cause chaces are he isnt. hes just putting on an act, and being fake is never a good thing.
