I am a heterosexual female and now I know why men are attracted to women.
I was at a meeting once and a friend was giving an analogy about phermones and she used me as an example in a crowd of fifty people. I was a little embaressed but it proved a point.

Attractive features of men are like this: A nice and cute face, Their eyes, Moderate amount of Chest hair, Their legs (with some hair) A sexy voice, Cool hair, Muscles, Good teeth, Oh, and they could have a really attractive body and all, but if their personality sucks then it ruins the whole sexy vibe. For example, take Joe Flanigan (google him), I find him very sexy because he has a beautiful face, has hot chest, and such cute black hair.

Why did the Creator take Adam's rib to create Eve? Eve was a reflection of Adam who was a reflection of God. Man has a natural affinity for what he cannot truly attain--direct communion with God; so he must attain it through his communion, and union, with woman. Besides, in his wisdom, God made woman more comely than man, gentler and able to care for man's frailties. He had an affinity for her on a physical level which served to fulfill their direction to go forth and multiply.
For all of that, women are just so wonderful to look at, touch, caress, and do what comes naturally with that men can't think about much else for the greatest part of their day.

I saw a show on the Discovery channel about this recently. According to the show, men are attracted to women who appear to be good candidates for carrying and caring for a baby. This factors in such things as waist size and breast size, which could explain some of society's standards for female beauty.
