When I go to the dessert island at a buffet, I hope for chocolate eclairs and chocolate coated strawberries.
Ib a desert island, I woul want my husband with me along with a sharp knife, rope, air mattress, food, drinking water, and a lighter for fires. The knife and rope could be used to build a shelter.

Dessert! yummy! I would bring a spoon for the ice cream, a fork for the cake. Whipped cream for the pie, and milk for the cookies.

[EDIT] Oh, you fixed it. Way to ruin all of my fun. And well I'm at it... Whoever it was that said they would bring their cellphone doesn't understand that you'd need to have a cellphone tower nearby for it to work... so a cellphone would be useless.

One thing would be a cell phone so I could call for help.
But seriously, I would like to have a large safety pin, a length of cord, and a canvas clothe or tarp. With these, you can fish, have shelter, and something to wear, if need be. You could eventually use them all to make a raft.

Shelter - obivious
Cup or bowl - to catch rain water , use for food, etc.
Mirror - You can then attract ships or planes in the distance
Matches - to create a fire
Sharp tool - cut items, etc.

music such as my MP3 player, a book, my swim suit, some clothes, sun screen and lots of fun. i would want water, food and things to keep me alive but the rest of the things to keep me preoccupied , have fun , enjoy the sight, and just relax. the music to keep me preoccupied as well as the book, and then my swim siut and clothes to stroll around and to go swimming. i would make the most of my time on the island even if it were desserted!

Food and water and books. You need food and water to survive and books to keep you entertained. You could also bring a friend if you could.
