specifically, in Cape Town - just in case there's a difference. better yet, I'm trying to figure out if these rates for the Greenway Hotel in Cape Town are in USD or not. they can't be... the lowest rate is 4x as much as a Ritz here in the US

One US dollar is about 7 rands. I sent money home yesterday and my dad got only 6.5 rands for the dollar. So it fluctuates.

The lowest rate of R740 is in fact about 100 US dollars. Not really the Ritz, hey? The price may be low, but the place looks amazing. And it probably is. I'm from there.
