My McAfee VirusScan found a torjan called New Malware.n

the file path is: C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\Local Settings\Temp\Rar$EX00.984

It can't be deleted, cleaned or quarantine. What should I do?

Firstly..... you need something better than McAfee, because it's garbage. Secondly... McAfee will probably release something for it soon, if not I'd try an anti-spyware program.

Ewido will get the job done with no prob. I personally use xoft. But ewido got rid of a trojan virus that AVG could not when I used to have AVG. They are made by the same company. 30 day free trial. After 30 days, resident shield and automatic updates are turned off. But you can manually check for updates yourself and spybot can compensate for the resident shield. Ewido will def get it done. Trust me. Because it happened to me when AVG could not get rid of a trojan virus.

go to start > run> msconfig> startup

stop everything running on start up except what you need, use google to figure out what each thing is

alternativly start the pc in in safe mode see if you can delete it

alternativly down load the free trial of 30 day trend

alternativly download the free version of avg and run it

alternativly online scan of nortons

type Rar$EX00.984 into the Yahoo search bar and read some of the hits there. You may get some info.

Start your computer in Safemode then delete the file.
