why can't I view the videos on the home page? Like the current news?

I use Yahoo Home page and I can't open any of the News videos on my computer. Do you know why?

You might need to download something like ActiveX or Microdema or w/e that is...some program that lets your computer run certain videos, music, moving things on the internet.
