not here in ohio baby! at 14....and thats rare...but most places won't take you untill you're at least 15. try babysitting or dog walking. i have 3 daughters....your heart is in the right place, but honey, i'm sure your mother understands! i know this sounds lame, but make her something...a collage, a piece of art work...etc. the best thing you could give her would be a homade coupons for a neck massage, allowing her to sleep in, doing the laundry or cooking dinner. trust me...i'm a mother...those are priceless!!! good luck honey!!

Try doing the dishes for 2 months and cleaning your room on a daily basis. This will make your mom and dad very proud and will be the best birthday present ever.

Delievering Papers
Dog Walking
Dog/Cat sitting
Go around to houses and see if they need any help, mowing the yard, trimming trees, cleaning there house etc.

At your age, nobody will hire you due to labor laws. Your only possibility would be newspaper delivery.
