Why do some female models look like hollocaust survivors ?

Is it the designers, or what but some of the female models making it down runways look like hollocuast survivors and there clothes look like they are making a mokery of women ?

Any reasons why ?

Apparently, their exscuse is clothing looks better on thinner bodies. In some cases, yes. In others- if I see someone bordering death as they are so skinny, that most certainly doesn't give me an urge to go out and buy that specific article of clothing or whatever they're attempting to sell. I personally think clothing looks much better on a body with a little bit of meat though that's not what the fashion world thinks. Most models aren't even exactly pretty. They have to have height, and the right weight. They also have to have an interesting face not a 'typical pretty' face. I think many take it to the extreme when choosing girls to model their clothing as some just look disgustingly thin. Even if they are naturally that thin (which IS possible), I just don't think someone could be as healthy as they could be when their a good 30+pounds under a healthy weight. I've tried my best to make this not offensive to anyone but this is just my own opinion..=]
