Coffee machine: perks right up in the morning. The blender " knows how to be a real smoothie. The toaster: heats up but cools down just as fast.

As a fully functional bending unit, I pretty much can cover the range, pun intended. As a chef, pretty much the same. Really depends on the time and the mood. I can be a coffee maker, ready to perk things up, or I can be a blender ready to chill you out with a frozen daiquiri. I can slice it and dice it any way, but I have to say I'm more like the kitchen itself. Come in, be comfortable, make yourself at home while I rustle up some comfort.

The baster. (ok so technically not an applicance......but a kitchen tool nevertheless)
pfffffft......no not that way you perv. (for shame)
I hold all my thoughts and feelings in. I store them all up in a little holding cell. They fester and grow and expand and just wait for the right moment. Then "SPLOOSH" they all come spurting forth with great power and pressure. I find I can't control myself. I just start spewing out how I feel and what I need and what I want and what is troubling me and what is exciting me and what I'm worried about and who I want to help and how I can change things and places I wanna see and things I wanna do.......*breathes!*
So.......I often think I'm very much like ... a baster.

Dishwasher - cleans up other people's messes, can apply the right amount of heat necessary to do the job, can be gentle or tough according to the need of the moment, likes to spin around in the kitchen, operates quietly and efficiently.

I'm a microwave....get hot way too fast and even when you try to shut me off I can heat out of control.
