Honestly, I was taught in the 6'th grade that the Aztecs believe it would be on December 12, 2012, and ever since then I can't get it out of my head. For some reason, and I know it sounds dumb, but I'm kinda scared of it. The thing is, they acuratly predicted every lunar and solar eclipse we've ever had, even to this day, and so why they chose that date? I dont know...kinda freaky though isnt it?

If you are talking religion - I have no idea... If you are asking for a probable time when the sun will finally burn out - I can tell you it should be many billions of years from now. Will you be alive? Even if someone invents a way for you to extend your life and make you physically immortal - it is unlikely you will be around for a billion years. The longer you can expect to live in fact, the more likely it is that you will either have a fatal accident, or die as a victim of someone else's malicious act. Basically if you live long enough, eventually the chance of something like that happening will become practically inescapable. That said; the world may become uninhabitable because of pollution and toxic contamination, conceivably the who eco-system may become so unstable that the natural processes of life support on this planet may fail completely. If you are very young - you may experience the benefits of a greatly extended life by means of nano-technology or some other as yet unknown means. This may allow you to live as few as a hundred years to perhaps as much as even several centuries. Yours may even be one of the last generations to face death by old age, although we still have a long way to go before we will ever completely defeat disease, it may happen in your lifetime. This would mean little in terms of religion or prophesy but in terms of social consequences you may be one of first generations who must actually deal with the consequences of your decisions in the long term once the present generation dies off and your contemporaries become the ones who actually run the world. At that point it will be -your- decision whether or not the world ends within your life-time.

The universe started with the Big Bang and it will end at some point
after billions and billions of years
As for the Earth it could dissapear(or very damaged) in the contact with a comet or other space body or when the sun will end.
I think there is no need to worry that you will experience that,
