it absolutely is. Our lips lose the ability to produce moisture after awhile of using chapstick. Basically, our lips don't have to produce anymore so they stop. I am utterly addicted to chapstick and I hate it!

that would definately be a yes. anything can bcome addictive if you let it.. an addiction is purely ones choice... rather than a"need" from your body... you have the desicsion to make.. noone else can make it for you...

Yes! I have to use lip balm several times a day or I feel like my lips are very dry.
