Simply I like Taiwan. 我愛臺灣
And as for the people, I would say..I like Taiwanese 臺灣本省人.
Mainlander 外省人 are little different from Taiwanese. IMO.

Your question is kind of hard to understand.
If you mean to ask if we like Taiwanese people, then I agree with Macaw_Lover -- you can't judge someone by their nationality.
If you meant do we like Taiwan the country (and 'people' was referring to those answering your question), then I guess I would say that I wouldn't want to live there permanently, but I did like it while I was there (my father is a field service engineer and he had a job there years ago, so I went to school in Taipei, Taiwan for the first half of first grade). If you're thinking about visiting Taiwan, go for it!

I am going to give you the benefit of the doubt and say you don't understand how much of a racist comment this is. What is wrong with you? You don't "not" like a "type" of people. You not like someone because they aren't a good person.

as with any other nationalities, you dont "like" or "dont like" the entire race. there may be quirks that are common in that particualr race that you dont really like but generally, not serious enough for you to "dislike" the whole race on that basis.

so my take is - yes and no, depends on the person.

(As is my right to do as long as it is my personal opinion and I don't propagate hate or violence. People get so uptight on here.)
