My favorite is 'Free Loop' about a guy who dedicated his life to perform with his piano. By Daniel Powter
It's a good song about a guy who tries hard to be able to do a 'one night stand' with his piano and who's been use to being down on his luck.

My husband's in this band called World Famous Nobodies. He wrote a song called Mona Lisa that I can't get out of my head. It is haunting and beautiful. I also like Kiss the Flame because I am the Flame! So cool being married to a rock dude. My other favorites are;
A Murder of One from Counting Crows because he says, 'when you open up your wings to speak I wish you'd let me in.' I love the idea that we all have wings.
How to Save a Life from The Fray because I am a Grey's Anatomy fan and they used that song in their promo.
and finally,
Slender Frame by a-ha, because my coat hangs loosely sometimes.

Unchained Melody - Righteous Brothers' version.
Reminds me of my wife. She was in a coma for a month after an accident. Every day without fail, I played this song by her bedside. It is her favorite song. One day she smiled even though her eyes were closed. You should have seen my children's face when she smiled. That moment will lived in my heart forever. Thankfully she is alive & well today & we are a happy family again.

First runner up is Hard to say I'm Sorry - Chicago - 1982 - 2 weeks later, that was the first slow dance with a girl - - - - not the same girl :-(

I know it's really popular and all, but it just is really deep and I can relate to so much of it. And its just realy pretty and the movie it was written for is really good too.
