Don't like 'em and never really have. I think they're bombastic and counter-productive because they over-reach and over-state their case.

And I'm a liberal Democrat.

I am a Democrat and I don't belong to Moveon. I've read their stuff. I agree with some of their ideas, disagree with others. I consider them something of a watchdog, kinda like Greenpeace, who had some good ideas, but were definitely over the top. But you might recall the ship Rainbow Warrior, that was sunk by the French when it tried to get in the way of nuclear tests in the Pacific. I thought the French were wrong and Greenpeace was the only group to take them on. There is nothing wrong with Moveon, the people inside it believe in what they do. They are a good balance to wackos on the right.

If by "members" you mean dues-paying members (or contributors, if you will), I'm guessing it's a VERY small number as most of the lefties on this "forum" are not the kind of folks to put their money where their (very large) mouths are.

One of my past questions asked people to detail the amount of their political contributions and I got one (count it - one!) answer with a dollar amount and two more of the usual 'here's my story' "answers".

What are their three goals? From what I see they are
1) Elect Democrats.
2) Hate Bush
3) Bring the US down to the level of a third-world nation.

I think I'm a member. I get their emails, but never do anything with them.
