I see from 10 to 13 year olds wearing make-up, and personally, I think that's kind of trashy. These kids really have nothing to cover up, and they don't even know how to apply it correctly. This usually results in multi-colored disasters. Anyway, I'm a Senior in High School and I choose not to wear make-up. Is that weird? I'm up-to-date with styles and dress nicely. And when exactly should I begin to wear make-up? I don't believe in covering up my pores and thickening my skin with unnatural-looking foundation, which can cause massive breakouts. So, comments?

There really isn't an exact age. It depends on your up bringing, the values and beliefs of your parents and the values that you choose to follow in life. I also think that it comes down to your Morales as well.
I too believe that 10- 13 year old's wearing make up is trashy and unnecessary!
I am 28 years old and I choose to only wear make up for special occasions/ events, and even then it's only eyeshadow, mascara and lipstick in muted colours just to highlight my features.
Do what makes you happy and feel good.
I have great skin and still get asked for ID on a regular basis even though I'm 10 years over the legal age!
There is nothing better than natural beauty and a lot of the times makeup only highlights peoples imperfections, unless of course they are a supermodel who has been airbrushed!

i understand precisely what you propose about no longer wanting to be like KABAM haha i began wearing makeup my freshman 3 hundred and sixty 5 days besides! i won't be able to stand even as people basically pile makeup on, i'm much better organic with it. i might want to signify getting a gentle powder mineral starting up position that suits your pores and skin tone basically to even out your pores and skin. Then get mascara, i take advantage of hide female lash blast, i might want to recommend this in case you'd be procuring from a drug shop incredibly than an extreme priced branch shop. The lash blast mascara makes your lashes seems brilliant! Get the non-water-resistant though, because the water resistant has a tendency to clump and is not uncomplicated to get off. Now that could want to probable look outstanding sufficient, yet you'll get a black eyeliner pencil and basically line your higher lid basically above your lashes with a skinny line. that's going to look very organic and fairly. finally, you may want to get a tinted or non-tinted chap stick. This look will be very outstanding for a established, organic look. strong success :)

I'm also a senior in high school and the only thing that I apply to my face is eyeshadow, eyeliner, lip liner, and lip gloss. All that other stuff like foundation I find to be irrelevant. I think that you should try some things and just find something simple to start out with and then gradually make your way up. DON'T PUT TO MUCH ON SOME PEOPLE GO OVER BOARD AND LOOK LIKE DRAG QUEENS

I'm a sophomore in high school, and I can't stand makeup, either. I don't like the idea of it clogging my pores or making me look like a trashy little kid. I think that there's no certain age to wear makeup, but if you're going somewhere special and you want to look extra pretty, just wear a little mascara, and maybe some gloss. The only makeup I've used is eyeliner and a little gloss, and I'm happy sticking with it, but only when I'm going somewhere exciting.

I think someone should wear makeup when they are ready. For some girls, that may be 12, for others it might be 20. You're smart to wait. It takes time and effort, it's expensive and if you just don't need it, then you don't need it. I'm 24 and only wear it about half the time. But I don't think it's horrible if a young girl wants to wear it either. Everyone is different.

I don't like make-up. When I was a kid I liked to mess with it because I liked painting so I thought it was paints. I started wearing make-up (on special occasions) because, I had to do senior pictures and special events like that. When I put it on I put on mascara and a light foundation. My skin is already sensitive I don't need to put a ton of make up just to "look nice". I am fine just the way I am.

I am a freshman and I only wear blush and mascara. Personally, i dont like foundation either. You're right, all it does is clog your pores; thats why i stoped wearing foundation. Plus, most of the time guys dont like it when girls wear a lot of makeup so its your choice. If i were you i would keep on going with the "natural look".

The best foundation I have used to date is Maybellene Pure Makeup, its a water base, not oil, so it will not clog pores, and when you put on make up, all you really need is foundation to even out your skin, conlealer for dark circles, blemishes and such, a powder and a powder brush, blush, and mascara, thats all you need for a young woman, you don't need alot and it should only take 5 mins to apply. If you need more advice feel free to email me.

I started to wear some blush and lip gloss when I was a sophmore in H.S. and then really started to wear eyeshadow, mascara etc. when I was about 20. I think it just depends on how your raised, if your mom wears makeup if you have older sisters etc. (I say makeup is fine if its done tastefully/correctly.) To each her own, right?
