My most defining moment was the birth of my first daughter. From the moment she entered the world, I knew that each of my future actions affected her. Now that I have two daughters, I cannot imagine my days without them in my life. They, along with my daily prayers to God, shape my everyday existance.

It sounds kinda crazy but everyday has its own defining moments.. it has everything to do with our senses. Everyday I see something that makes me feel differently... a beautiful sunset or a pretty bird or scene. It also could be the smells around you or the hearing a real belly laugh out of someone, all these types of things leave an impression on me and make up part of who I am. I would have to say on a personal note... marriage and kids will define you as well.

Being five years old, going over to my uncle's house with my dad, and then having to call my mom six hours after we got there and asking her to come pick us up because my dad was drunk and was really close to passing out. Then the car ride home with him in the back seat and having to pull over a couple times so he could get out and throw up.
That moment shapes my everyday life in that i make the choice everyday not to drink. even when my friends are and i want to.
Especially around people that i care about.

Death of a loved one.
I never thought it could ever happen to me... how naive I was...
Life is short, celebrate it for you'll never know when it'll be taken from you.
