Don't worry!!!! I had the same thing TWO times and I have two normal, healthy sons! Both times I had "spotting" all through the first trimester, which magically vanished once I hit 12 weeks. I worried sick both times, of course, because I didn't want to miscarry. But here's the thing: if you really WERE miscarrying, you'd know it. You'd have heavy cramping and heavy bleeding. You couldn't miss it, and then too, even if that does happen, you have to remember that when you miscarry in the first 12 weeks, it is usually because of a problem with the baby and it wouldn't have been able to live outside of you anyway, so it's usually for the best in those cases.
But it's hard to think that way, I know. And when you say "tissue", I think I know what you mean. A lot of times, there is implantation bleeding going on around 6 weeks, which is a good sign--your baby is burrowing into the wall of your uterus and that's what the "tissue" that you're seeing is, just some of your uterine lining. I saw that, too.
You can ask your doc if he or she will do an ultrasound for you to make sure that everything is ok. I had one both times at 7 weeks just to make sure and once they see the little heart beating away on ultrasound, the chance of a miscarriage is quite slim.
You'll be just fine! Try not to worry, and just take it easy!
Good luck & God bless!

Hi .. you have what is called a threatened miscarriage/abortion.....i feel really that you should get back in touch with your Dr and explain that you have lost some tissue and they will send you to your local early pregnancy assessment unit where they will give u a vaginal scan to check upon the baby's progress.... they may also do a blood test to check your hormone levels and if they are too low this is a sign of a threatened miscarriage as well as your levels should be doubling by now , they will explain all of this to u .....i have to be honest it doesn't sound good... but at least u will know one way or another as its no good not knowing that's stressful in itself....
I hope it all goes well for u !!

oh and not all miscarriages come with huge blood clots and heavy bleeding as other suggests.. some do and some dont ...

You might be, but I hope not. I've had 2. Unfortunately, you'll have to wait until Monday to see what happens. Try not to worry too much until you get all the information from the Dr. on Monday. I've read up to 1/3 of all women bleed a little early in the pregnantcy. I'll keep you in my thoughts.

If you're losing tissue, get to the doctor NOW. Don't wait. The nurses and docs in the ER won't think you're an idiot because you went in over something like that. If it's no big deal, then great, you have reassurance. But if it is a big deal, they can't save the baby this early, but they can prevent you from having a lot of pain, discomfort, and even damage to your reproductive system. It's better to be safe about it.

I know that a fetal heartbeat does not start beating until around that time (5-6 weeks). The first time I was pregnant with my baby there wasn't a beat either and I was as worried as you. But it all turned out to be fine afterwards. Don't worry.

Hopefully it's not a miscarriage, but just you being worried.

It's not uncommon to miscarry at this stage, I lost two before having my son, both around 8 weeks. There is not a lot they can do for you. Rest, some pain medicine, and a good cry. A lot of crying.

Hoping for the best for you.

you will know when you miscarrie if you do. It consists of so much bleeding that you are stuck on the toilet. You will also pass blood clots the size of a golf ball, and you will bleed more than a 4 pads in an hour. So not stress about a little blood. That is nothing, you will bleed more than a regular period. If you had a vaginal exam at your app. then that might have caused you to spot. good luck and hope to hear how you do.

I had that happen to me and I went to the hospital.
I was told I was never pregnant. I had a false positive.
If all you did was an urine test to determine if you were pregnent please go back and insist on a blood test. I hope everything is okay with you.
