I don't have problems with going to the doc BUT if I have a problem "down there" I don't go because I'm too scared and embarrassed!!!!

Well my problem started 2 months ago....I started having greyish discharge which lines the walls and accumulates...it has the consistancy of cake icing!!!!!.....it smells funny....then recently I started to get more fluid discharge with blood in it...I also have a little discomfort down there...

I have no sex, I'm a virgin...also I am very clean..I'm perplexed

I'm afraid of going to the doctor about it.....I can't show them anything I'm so embarrassed.....

should I go?? Does anyone already know what I have?? Can it be anything serious like cervical cancer???!??!? :(

You need to go to the doctor! Don't be embarrassed, doctors have seen much worse! It could be a yeast infection, or just a general infection of your genital area, but you need to be checked out by a medical professional since this infection could harm your internal female organs. Be safe and get it checked out.

1) Don't be embarrassed. The chances that you have something the doctor has never seen before are slim to none.

2) Being clean doesn't always have to do with having a problem.

3) Yes, you should go. It's probably not serious, and it's VERY unlikely to be cervical cancer. You probably have a yeast infection, but since you've never had one, you should go to the doctor. If that's what it turns out to be, then you know and can treat it yourself in the future. BUT for the first time, you should ALWAYS go to the doctor first.

4) Relax, you'll be okay. Just go to the doctor, get some medicine and learn something about your body.

Good luck!

There is nothing to be embarrassed about. Even very clean people get problems occasionally. You need to go to the doctor, no matter how hard it is. What if something is wrong that can be easily fixed? You may want to have children one day and you need to make sure you are alright.

As far as cervical cancer, mine did not start out that way. I had bleeding constantly for three months; it was like having a period constantly. That was the only symptom I had.

PLEASE MAKE A DOCTOR'S APPOINTMENT FOR YOUSELF.

You should go to the doctor. I know you don't want to hear that. I used to fear those types of exams as well, but you just have to remember that these people see countless areas down there and countless problems and you're not going to be anything shocking and new. It helps to have a female doctor too. My exams hurt especially a lot because of tilted cervix, so if you have a fear of pain, I recommend taking an anti-inflammatory like Advil before going. It really helps. This will give you peace of mind and show you that these exams are NOT the end of the world!

If you have never been diagnosed with a yeast infection by a doctor, go see a doctor and have it checked. Sounds like you may have a yeast infection or a bacterial infection. If its a bacterial infection you need to be treated with antibiotics. Don't use anything over the counter until you speak with your doctor. Trust me, doctors deal with this kind of thing every single day, there is no reason to be so embarrassed, I promise.

You need to see a doctor. That is what they are there for and by not getting it checked out the problem may become worse. My doctor told me that some discharge is normal because the vagina is self-cleaning. But if it is any other color than clear or whitish color it is not normal. Hope you get it checked out.

Go to the doctor. Try to imagine how embarrassed you would be later if it were something serious and you did not address the issue quickly. I had endometrial cancer at 31 last year. I don't think yours sounds like cancer compared with my symptoms though.

Try the over the counter yeast infection medicine; if that doesn't clear it up, make an appointment with your doctor. You need to get over your fear of seeing a doctor for gynecology issues because you should probably be getting a pap test over year as well. Don't jeopardize your health (reproductive health) for the sake of your fear.

This could be some kind of infection. You should never be embarrassed about going to the doctor. They are there to help you and would never judge you. Please get checked out. They will most likely give you some medication that will clear it up.
