I have a abnormal period because of Endometriosis, and before I spend $300. I would like to know if this is going to work for me. My Husband and I been trying to conceive now for a little over a year. I will take any advice on whatever you like to share on this topic! Thanks a ton!

Have you tried the ovulation test. You can buy them at Walmart or Walgreens.

When comparing ovulation tests, it is important to note that the more sensitive the test is to LH, the better. tests detect LH with sensitivity of 25mIU/mL which are greater than 99.8% accurate

I found this site:
http://www.just4tests.com
Where you can order them for 1.65 each or 31.00 for a months worth.

And YES they do work.

I would try this before you spend so much money on a monitor.

GOOD LUCK :)

One easy (and cheap) way to find out if you are ovulating is to monitor your basal body temperature with a special thermometer. Your body temperature rises about 1/2 degree when you ovulate, thus you can pinpoint the time that you ovulate by monitoring your temperature throughout your cycle. It's easy to do, just pick up a basal temp thermometer from your local drug store. Each morning, BEFORE you get out of bed take your temperature and record it, along with the date and day of your cycle (The first day of you period is day 1, women have a 28 day cycle on average). The website below has a free chart you can download to use to record and track your temperature.

There are also ovulation detection kits, which can be pricey (about $30 from the drug store), but might be helpful in pinpointing your ovulation and thus finding out when you are most likely to conceive.

Good luck!
