i heard on the radio that Lou Piniella is going to the Giants.
and that they will not give Bonds an extension. his contract is up. so he can be a DH somewhere.
But,
that A-Rod will go to the Giants.
part of the deal to get Piniella.
A-Rod played for Piniella from 94 to 2000

what does everyone think of this?

Piniella said he wants to play for a team that is ready now. no re-building for him. he is too old for that.
so he needs big time players now. and he is not interested in bonds.

Why would A-Rod have to go to the Giants if the Giants get Piniella? A-Rod plays for the Yankees. Piniella isn't currently under contract with any team. Sounds like another false rumor.

I haven't heard of this. But, if it's true seeing as how I'm a Giants fan and all I think it's great. I was wanting the Giants to sign some good players for '07. I am wishing that they will keep BOnd's though just because I'd like to see him break the all time hr record as a Giant but it won't be a great loss. He probably will do better as a DH!
I'll take A-rod as a Giant. I've heard he's a pretty good player, despite all the bad-talk that goes around about him.

GO GIANTS 2007!

Lou Pinella is a leading contender. Bonds will be back; love him or not, chasing Aaron will put butts in seats and no matter what they say in the media, he'll be back. Money talks. No one is going to come out just to see Winn, Finley, or Sweeney . . .

If Bonds comes back, they can't afford A-Rod, even if they lose Schmidt and the others. They will have to spend some $$$ on a lefthanded pitcher.

A-Rod would have to take a paycut; Bonds will too, however it won't be that big of a cut, and as soon as he breaks the record he retires (end of season).

Look for Brenly or Wotus to get the managers job.

You're right that Pinella might go to the Giants, and A-Rod would waive his no-trade clause to be with Pinella, but the Giants couldn't take on A-Rod's contract. The Yankees wouldn't do it. Who do you think they would get? If Pinella were to go to the Cubs (which could happen), then A-Rod might go there (because they can afford him).
As for Bonds, I haven't heard that they won't give him an extension.

First off Mr. March has a no trade clause that would have to be waived by A-DUD in order for that to happen, that being said what would Possibly lure him to San Fran. The G men are NOT exactly at the top of the heap in the WEAK ntnl. league west.... Dont think its gonna happen!!!

Ugh. it quite is a unfavourable, unfavourable rumor. Ask why WWE could try this. He become scheduled to win the worldwide Heavyweight call against Batista and Orton the subsequent day. Why could WWE and/or Eddie Guerrero try this? Eddie become committed to the corporate and that i fantastically doubt he could pretend his dying just to pursue yet another occupation/stop wrestling. pass tell whoever instructed you that to shove it.

I'm not a Yankees fan, but I heard the Yankees already said that A-Rod isn't gonna go anywhere.
