You need to download it with FTP (using the password that you stored it with), make the changes, and then upload it again.

I assume you know you can only edit a web page which you own and published yourself. If you don't know how to edit it I don't know how you got it published in the first place. Could you be more specific, like what software are you using, how did you get it up on the net in the first place?
