Is this in fact going to be a remake or a sequel? I'd be much more accepting of a remake than a sequel. Rob did a good job with Devil's Rejects. I think he learned from making a lot of expensive mistakes with House of 1000 Corpses. I thought it was trying way to hard to be TCM. Halloween is one of those classic horror films that will always stand as a milestone in the genre.

While I am ususally the first to say "To hell with the remake!", I'm grudgingly allowing this one. House was basically a remake of TCM, and a good one mind you, while Devil's Rejects was a great 70's style exploitation flick. I think that he is one of the few people in the world right now that I would hand the reins over to from a beloved series.

I'm not. His movies have gotten bad reviews. Granted he is one of the biggest horror film fanatics but just because you've got passion, doesn't mean you are the person for the job.
