my address bar where i type in the web address has disappeared, i think i might have pressed a button by ....?

accident without knowing and now i cant see it. how do i bring it back?

I assume Internet Explorer 6.0.

From the View menu, choose Toolbars, then make sure Address Bar is checked.

If it already is checked, then you may have shrunk its size. Look for the word "Address:" somewhere in the toolbar area, and then click and drag it around until it expands to its full size. If you cannot click and drag it around, right-click on the toolbar's empty space and uncheck "Lock Toolbar."

Bring up Internet Explorer, Click on View, then Toolbars and make a check on Address Bar

Try pressing the F11 key at the top of your keyboard. I accidentially do that every once in a while. The F11 key will make the address bar disappear and reappear.
