You will need DDR SO-DIMM RAM, DDR 2700. If you want a 1GB stick, any of these will work:http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=ENE&N=2010170381+1052907864+1309221120+1309121113&Subcategory=381&description=&Ntk=&srchInDesc=
for 512MB, any of these:http://www.newegg.com/Product/ProductList.asp?Submit=ENE&N=2010170381+1052907864+1309221120+1309121111&Subcategory=381&description=&Ntk=&srchInDesc=

Just a note on crucial.com, yes it is a good site for finding what type, but as for prices, on the 1GB the one they sell is more expensive that all of the 21 I showed you, and the 512 is more than all the 24 I showed you. You can even buy Crucial RAM much cheaper than they sell it at crucial.com. So I don't know why people say that site has competitive prices.

*****YOU MUST VERIFY THIS IS YOUR MACHINE*****
Intel Processor type Pentium 4 - 3 GHz Hyper-Threading
RAM installed size 1 GB
Max supported RAM 2 GB
RAM technology DDR SDRAM-266 MHz
Memory specification compliance DDR266/PC2100

The good: 17-inch wide-screen display; excellent performance; TV tuner module; DVD-rewritable drive.
The bad: Large and heavy; poor battery life; minor but irritating design flaws.
The bottom line: The Satellite P25 is a large, fast, powerfully configured multimedia convergence notebook with some annoying imperfections.

For competitive pricing and guaranteed compatibility, go to crucial.com.

You just need to enter your manufacturer and model, and they will show you all compatible RAM.

You will want to know how many empty slots you have available before ordering.
