Yes, as long as you are passionate about both! At my college, it is almost the norm to have unrelated majors and minors (I'm an accounting major with a sociology minor). If you're interested in both biology and art, perhaps you might be interested in a career in occupational therapy or art therapy.

No problem. You can do both. I know a kid who is in Pharmacy school who also is majoring in chemistry and also has a minor in classical guitar. And another kid I know is pre-med and he is majoring in piano.
The only problem is that if you have two majors that overlap (like say, biology and chemistry) there will be a lot of courses that count for both and you won;t have to take too many extra courses to get in the second major. But if you have a second major that is totally different, like biology and art, then hardly any required courses, if any, will overlap and you will have to take quite a few more extra courses. It could delay your graduation and that could be very expensive...
I don't think it would bother any employer that you had two different majors. It might help, like if you wanted to get a job teaching in a school and the Principal found out you could teach biology and also supervise the band!

Your minor must be unique out of your important. maximum universities won't assist you minor in some thing that so heavily mirrors your important. ordinarily, you prefer to p.c.. some thing that hobbies you. once you're finding for a minor which will help you get into the paintings rigidity upon graduating, your suited guess is in all probability a liberal arts degree. paintings historic previous is a enormously vocationally vulnerable degree in and of itself. once you couple it with a liberal arts degree, whether, you may declare a great sort of transferrable interest skills which will open doorways in different industries for you, a minimum of till you discover your area of interest in the interest rigidity.

It's perfectly fine if it's something that you're interested in. I'm pursuing a business major with minors in both French and psychology. It's always good to explore beyond your concentration.

you apparently have a great interest in art, and may only be studying biology because it's the 'right' thing to do. i suggest you follow your desires and major in art.
