i'm fitting a jdm motor into a 67' porsche 912 and wanted to run a header off each side, to a turbo on each side, that feed into the same intercooler to avoid all the calibration mess. if i split all the sensor wires and such and let the car think there's still only one, shouldent that work?

dude your like the last person to think up the duel turbo system. you need to get with the times, someone put a quad turbo system on there car. if you got the money and know how they work then go for it but if you don't know anything have fun blowing up your eng.

the ej20 doesn't really have enough displacement to effectively spool 2 turbos (unles you are talking about some really small turbos, and the td04 is a small turbo itself!). you could always try to twincharge it: a supercharger for down low, then when your turbo ( larger than the td04!) takes over when it builds boost. i know they make a kit for the ej25 that runs about $10k for the whole thing. of course, proper tuning and fuel delivery is absolutely neccessary for something like this. it would be more cost effective and sensible to just go with a td05 18g or 20g. a little laggy, but big numbers! also make sure your transmission can handle all this torque you're thinking of turning out. but, do some research on nasioc.com and you can find something on twin or bi turbo setups.

Yes! Subaru even made a sequential twin turbo setup for the Legacy, with vacuum lines controlling the wastegates to make the little turbo spool up the big one. Nice cars.. Your idea is fine though, just make sure to increase the fuel volume a tad.

you'd probably have more luck with the ej25, but then again you'd have to replace all those cast parts on it.
