Carry Pistol?

Do to the lack of single action carry pistols i have widened my search to include DA/SA. No polymer and preferably single stack. Any suggestions people?

You can't go wrong with the Colt 1911 style .45 ACP. It and it's variants are available in abundance, and there is nothing more comfortable in the hand. I have a stainless steel Colt myself. It is a large gun though, so carrying is limited to times when you can wear a jacket.

I wouldn't trust my life with anything under .45, But if you don't want to carry a 1911 try a Barretta model 92
