Yes will be fine with your existing ID. I was fine on my 21st. It's Vegas- aka Sin City- they are just happy you decided to spend your money there.

My brother Turned 21 this past March 11. We left for vegas on the last flight on March 10 so we got into Vegas at 9:00pm. We hung around and at exactly midnight my brother went to the bar and got his first drink, no problem.
I also agree that the Colorado thing is stupid. My husband had to get his new ID mailed to him twice from the Colorado DMV cause his first one took a month and a half to get to our house. This, of course, all happend as we were going to Vegas and the Security Check point people wouldn't let him go in because he had the stupid Temporary ID. Finally (an hour later) they let him through security.
Deal with it when you get home.

Most bouncers will look for the "Under 21" phrase and not look at the date. If you dont have a photo ID, they wont let you in either, paper ones dont fly. I have even seen them turn people away because they thought the ID was fake when in actuality it was legit. So, just go and try and if they turn you away simply walk away and possibly try somewhere else. I lived in Vegas and Ive seen more people get turned away because, even though they were 21, their ID said "Under 21". There are however some bouncers with an education that will look at the birthday, but there are some clubs that have a policy, if it says under 21...you cant get in.
I do however recommend Rum Jungle at Mandalay Bay, The Beach over on Sahara, Tangerine at TI, Jet at Mirage and Studio 54 at MGM.
**Rain and Ice arent my fave. Even though you are a tourist...that is where they all go. And its usually the snobby, stuck up people who are there pretending to be someone they are not. On top of that its always too crowded**

I live in Washington state and here our driver's license is sideways if you are under 21. Some bars will not let you in even if you are over 21 but still have this sideways ID card. For many places it is not a problem. So it is pretty much hit or miss depending on the establishment. You will not be arrested though, don't worry about that.

Of course! As long as it shows your birthday on it, and the person checking your ID isn't stupid. November 13, 1985???? How many years is that???

If they question you - ask them to look at your birthdate - more often than not, that's what they do anyway.
