I have had to replace my lock on my security door i had to replace the whole thing i have put it all together and is seems fine but the door wont lock, sometimes it will it is like there is something with the handle because when it will lock if i press the hand;le down it wont lock, should i just pull it apart and put it together again or does any 1 have any other ideas????

You guys are so narrow minded. Assuming the original lock did work at one time before replacement, you could have an assembly problem, but I suspect you may not have a problem at all. Lock the door. WITH KEY IN HAND, step outside, close door. Is it locked? If so you have device that has an egress mode. Don`t lock yourself out.

is the throw bolt going into the hole? if not you may have to adjust the strike plate
