Nobody has what Stevie had. And no one ever will. Genius.

Always like the music of Stevie Ray, A freind 's band opened for Stevie at a concert here in Reno, It was a great show. I also now listen to Jonny Lang and Kenny Wayne Shepherd, Who are pretty heavily influenced by Stevie, Also Los Lonely Boys, who have that Texas Blues style.

Love his tunes. I had the good fortune to see his last concert in Vancouver, Canada, when his played with Joe Cocker it was the BEST.I was in shock when I heard on the radio the next morning after the concert that he was in a plane crash. Stevie lives on in so many ways. I also like Jimmy Vaughan's tunes, have not heard anything from him in a few years though. Have you heard "Double Trouble " by the Vaughan brothers, if not give it a listen.

SRV, Albert King, Guitar Slim, Jimi Hendrix, Mr. Johnson

These blues guys were awsome. Many of the "new" players have no idea how to "feel their way" out of a driveway, let alone a nice B7 chord!

Stevie Ray IS still the best. I was lucky enough to see him twice in concert (Merriwether Post Pavillion in Columbia, MD. and D.A.R. Constitution Hall in Wash. DC)and he was awesome. I would say the day he died was another day the music died, but his music will never die.

A true master with his guitar. Heaven must have one hell of a band with all the great artists.
