Say you are only 35 years old?

How would you approach your career? What trips would you take?

What if you aren't certain you have only 5 years....but there is a possibility?

I'd make amends with my enemies, make true the promises I made, i'd write my loved ones a letter each saying thank you for all.... i'd also leave a journal behind of all I had done and what I wanted to do...i'd enjoy the beach, and just make peace with God, i'd eat all my fav meals and just show and tell everyone I love what they mean to me - i'd also thank God for giving me the chance to see his world, feel the wind, smell the air, taste the forbidden fruits and live in his presence throughtout my life

Much as I am now; getting as much done as possible. Squeezing as much out of this pitiably short stay as I can. In the scheme of things, whether it's 5 years or 75 years, it's still not that long- and I'll read as many books, see as many plays, listen to as much music, watch as many films and see as many countries as I can, till I pop off into oblivion. Just cram your life with stuff. It's such a short visit.

30 years ago I asked myself, what if you knew for certain that in 30 days you would die, what would your priorities be?? I picked "A CLOSER CONSCIOUS CONTACT WITH GOD".I was 39years old. shortly after i made that choice GOD imparted to me that "THE MIND IS NOT FOR THINKING,THE MIND IS FOR RECEIVING THOUGHT". then "ONE IN THE WORLD BUT NOT OF THE WORLD SHOULD SIMPLY DO WHAT IS BEFORE HIM TO DO,DEDICATING ALL TO THE SERVICE OF GOD. I would add that the only time you experience LIFE is "NOW" the past is gone the furture is not here. DON'T look back!!! DON"T antiisipate the future lest your fantasy collide with reality. LOVE

When I read your question this song came to my head...as for me...i wouldn't care about a career or anything like that..i would spend every second i could with my son, family, friends and loved ones.....

Tim Mcgraws "Live like you were dying"

He said I was in my early forties
with a lot of life before me
when a moment came that stopped me on a dime
and I spent most of the next days
looking at the x-rays
Talking bout the options
and talking bout sweet time
I asked him when it sank in
that this might really be the real end
how?s it hit you when you get that kinda news
man what?d you do

and he said
I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

He said I was finally the husband
that most the time I wasn?t
and I became a friend a friend would like to have
and all the sudden going fishin
wasn?t such an imposition
and I went three times that year I lost my dad
well I finally read the good book
and I took a good long hard look
at what I?d do if I could do it all again

and then
I went sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I gave forgiveness I?d been denying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.

Like tomorrow was a gift and you got eternity to think about
what?d you do with it what did you do with it
what did I do with it
what would I do with it?

Sky diving
I went Rocky Mountain climbing
I went 2.7 seconds on a bull named fumanchu
and then I loved deeper and I spoke sweeter
and I watched an eagle as it was flying
and he said someday I hope you get the chance
to live like you were dying.
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying
To live like you were dying

The only thing I would worry with would be making sure I was right with god and making sure I spent all the time I could with my family.
