Well, tomorrow wil be my first time babysitting for an extended period of time by myself. The parents are related to me through marriage and I've known the baby [a year and a half year old boy] since he was born. I was wondering if anybody has any hints or tips. I would really appreiciate it. Thank you!

Ok, here goes;
If you get into the liquor cabinet, drink the clear stuff to you can refill the bottle with water without anyone knowing.
If you have you boy friend over, keep the noise down so the neighbors don't call the cops.
Feel free to raid the fridge, but leave the beer alone. The cans are usually counted.
When snooping through the medicine cabinet and the parent's dresser, make sure everything goes back into its exact place.
If, while snooping, you find anything juicy or incriminating, try to keep it to yourself at least until English class on Monday.
And, if there's cable TV, the adult channel probably isn't blocked yet.

As soon as you get there, get the baby involved in something, like a game of peek a boo or a toy. It makes it a lot easier for the parents to leave without the child crying and making a big fuss.
If you have to feed him, have some fun with the food. Make sliced grapes and apples into the shape of a happy face on the plate or something like that. Try to keep the boy busy, but don't overstimulate him or else he may get REALLY cranky. And if you just can't take it anymore, you could always put him down for a nap. :D
I hope this helps!

yeah its gonna sound terrible
but let the little bugger do what ever he wants within reason
hes not your kid
you dont have to sweat disciplining him
as long as hes not doing anything dangerous
just let him have fun
then hell really like you and youll get asked to baby sit more often
and make more money
by the way charge enough
baby sitters get ripped off most of the time in my humble opinion

JUST MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A NUMBER WHERE TO CONTACT THEM.

BABY'S DR. NAME JUST IN CASE.

ASK IF BABY HAS ANY ALLERGIES...TO... FOODS OR MEDICATIONS.

IF IT IS AT YOUR HOUSE BABY PROOF IT.
TAKE THINGS OFF THE FLOUR IF HE IS CRAWLING OR WALKING.
THAT HE MIGHT PUT IN HIS MOUTH...

MAKE SURE THEY BRING YOU A PLAYPEN.
SO WHEN YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE BATHROOM OR MAKE A BOTTLE THERE IS A SAFE PLACE FOR BABY.. THAT WAY BABY CAN'T TAKE OFF.

DON'T TRY MAKING A BOTTLE WITH BABY IN YOUR ARMS...
EVEN IF HE IS CRYING....
KITCHEN IS NO PLACE FOR BABY...

DON'T GIVE ANY SUGAR THAT WILL WIRER HIM UP INCLUDING SWEET JUICE.OR ANYTHING THAT HE MIGHT CHOKE ON...
VERY ACTIVE AGE...
SO MAKE SURE YOU ARE WELL RESTED THE DAY BEFORE YOU HAVE TO GO...GOOD LUCK..
