Bless your heart. I know how painful that is. Stick w/ the ibuprofin and try this... get a cold can of soda and put in on the floor put the arch of your foot over it and roll toe to heal. The cold will help w/ the swelling and the motion helps to loosen the tendon. Also find a good arch support and call an orthopedic doc. for more treatment options. Good luck.

..doc says, the cut will be right below the knee..
hi. kidding.
it's plantar fasciitis, by the way.
ibuprofen takes care of syptomatic pain, and is temporary.
avoid moving around unecessarily.
and yeah, go see a doc. you may need a foot brace, an exercise regimen, and prescription meds.

Obviously you should talk to your doctor.
But, Alleve is an over the counter NSAID (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory), which is really good at helping reduce inflammation.

yes, ibuprofen will help with the inflammation, but you should still see a doctor pronto. pain is a sign that something is wrong.
