Virtual villagers farming questions?

Does putting more than one person to water/plant effect anything? On the bottom it says so and so amount of time until crops regrow. If I dont water will it still grow? Can I water too much?

You can't water too much, but at the same time, I never noticed a change in the time it takes for plants whether I have one or many people watering. However, when the plants do spring up, it's better to have multiple people picking the crops. The faster you harvest the crops, the faster you can replant.
