I have an incurable disease that causes me not to be able to work. I am not trying to scam the system. I just heard it is hard to get it the first time around.

most people are denied the first time.

My son was physically/mentally disabled, and he was denied the first time. Sorry, but of all of the people I know who are receiving it, not one wasn't denied the first time (that doesn't mean that it CAN'T happen). Good Luck

(Just make sure that if you do get denied that you appeal immediately, so that when you are approved, they will give you back-pay to your original filing date).

Then fill out the paper work honestly.
