Two of my friends are recieving anonymous text messeges on their cell phones that they cannot reply to. How is this done? Is there any way to trace the messege back to find the computer that is being used to send these messeges?

The best thing you can do there is go to your provider to trace who sent those messages and tell them your other concerns. If you want to send text messages from a computer to cellphone let me share this site to you...im also using it. Its free im not just so sure you have it in you place..

I know that with verizon you can send your computer text messages. Instead of entering the phone number you type in the email adress you wish to send it to. If you send a picture message with music attached to it. The picture and music will be attachments. As to the sending to your cell phone, I am not shure.

There are free online SMS gateways. You can join them free and they allow a few sms each day within US,Canada and England.

You can trace back if you are from FBI.

that's weird because you should be able to see who is sending the messages. you could try to contact the service provider to track them
