Seems like you have a lot of questions about UC or UC Berkeley in general.
UC Berkeley does not offer RN. Most people I know who want to major in nursing generally major in biology (or related field), then apply to UCSF (a top school in medicine) for nursing.
But if you want to be an anesthetist, you have to be a MD (doctor)first, which means you have to be pre-med.
And for the Ap, yes, I think you have to take at least some Ap classes to get into Berkeley. I believe they care more about grades/courses you take than SAT. But dont overload yourself. I didnt really take any Ap classes until my senior year (took 1 Ap in junior yr and 4 Ap in senior year).
I hope this help! If you have any more questions, feel free to email me.

None of the University of California schools offer an undergraduate nursing degree. Several of the California State schools have excellent nursing programs, however. To find out which Cal States offer nursing, try www.csumentor.com There are also several private schools in California which offer excellent nursing programs (Biola for example)

Two other useful sites that may help you track down options:

Peterson's Undergraduate Nursing Search engine: http://www.petersons.com/nursing/ug_code/ug-search.asp?sponsor=1

American College of Nurse-Midwives has a very good career and education center:

Try looking at Boston College in Boston Mass.

They have a graduate level academic program tied in with Caritas Christi hospitals.
