We're talking normal as in Times Roman Numeral, Arial, Verdana, Tahoma, etc. Any other normal ones count, of course, but what is the one that takes up the most space? Obviously I'm writting a paper and was wondering just in case I didn't quite meet the page requirement.

We use 12 point Times Roman at work. the smallest is 8 pt, the largest is 72, If you have an assignment, no minimum or maximum number of words but need to write a page and having trouble filling the page, I wouldn't go larger than 14 point. You can go to to the format tool bar and in paragraph, change the space between lines a little. I wouldn't go double space because that looks to obvious but 1.5, or a little less/more. You can also change your right/left margins a little as well as top and bottom margins to make it look like a full page.

The ideal font to be used is Times New Roman, and its size should be 12. This would give your paper a very formal appearance. Courier is nice, but it looks too mechanical for a paper. Plus, with Times New Roman, you can save more space. Also, you should have your paragraphs "justified". That way, it would look more compact.

When you downloaded it, you must not have put the font in the correct folder. You're suppose to download the font to your Microsoft Fonts folder. Then it should autimatically be put into word as a font option.
