Peyton Manning? Who really believes that? Leading a team to a championship or two or three and actually playing well when it counts (i.e., the playoffs) should be considered. Mr. Happy Feet can't seem to play outdoors when the temperature drops either. He's not even yet in Marino's league as far as career stats...get real.
As far as "best" right now--Brady although he's in tough this season. This season so far I'm a big fan of Carson Palmer but it's only 5 weeks in.
I'd say Bart Starr is the "greatest" NFL QB and look at his career yards per attempt. Don't give me any of this the Packers of the Lombardi era were all power sweep on O. He was a master at third and short and throwing the bomb.

Well its a toss up between Peyton Manning and Tom Brady. They are both excellent quarterbacks, however I would have to give Peyton the edge as he has more experience and has the better team backing him, can scramble better and his targets are totally awesome ! However I am still a NE Pats fan !

the greatest quarterback in hte NFL is probably Carson Palmer or Peyton Manning. If you want to back in history it would probably have to be Dan Marino, Joe Montana, or John Elway.
