Given H = x2 + 8, H-1 =????

H = x^2 + 8
x = (H^-1)^2 + 8
x - 8 = (H^-1)^2
H^-1 = sqrt(x - 8)

By the way, don't work out the (H^-1)^2 to be H^(-2), because you are trying to find H^-1 not H^-2
