Should I get a professional showreel, or make a more personal one myself? Should I work for a production company as a runner for experience? I have attended a college course for tv presenting. My history is in Hospitality management and highly involved presenting to staff and training. Is this skill transferable? Who can I get professional advice from? Is it all about contacts and networking? Should I give up my 20K job to pursue this or do it part time? This is a serious career change I do not mind starting again. Im 25 and Male.

Keep doing that but also contact local radio and tv stations and offer to work for free or work for peanuts as a runner. If you have any talent and work exceptionally hard even as being a dogsbody getting tea for big bods, this will be recognised and you will get your opportunities
