Bush say China friend... Bush not wrong....

If China Bush friend.... they no Korea friend...

I cite blog that all fact!

you seem to be blowing your mind with the idea that maybe China could help a country that it's BEEN AN ALLY WITH SINCE BEFORE THE KOREAN WAR... they couldn't possibly be doing anything bad... right?

and nothing could possibly be off the books in a communist nation... right? I'm sure they have disclosed everything!

and Pakistan... they couldn't possibly be playing both sides either? right? They just can't find Osama because he's "so good at hiding"... right?

Republican world naivete is at an all time high...

Well actually, China has no allies...they have interests. It was fiscally in their best interest to help supply NK with ingredients for their arsenal. As the leading supplier for Nkorean goods, I'm sure China knew they would be under no threat from the nkorean regime. As long as China believes they are under that blanket of security, they will continue to supply NKorea with whatever it needs, as an isolationist country--they have no reason not to. So I don't believe Bush "allowed" China to do anything. Bush's interests lie elsewhere. I'm sure if there were an agenda (such as control of global economy ) for Bush in NK, he would have made the case (and much better considering this one is true) for WMD's and pre-emptive war. Unfortunately NK had nothing to offer in return for our invasion...so they were allowed to not-so-secretly develop their arsenal. Bummer.

From what i have read and heard, it was Pakistan who supplied N. Korea with the technology and whatever. And so, when the U.S. and half a dozen or more other nations have nukes why shouldn't they? I would probably arm myself the best I could too, if the Pres of a superpower who loves war said I was an "axis of evil", loathed me, and put tremendous sanctions on me so my people were even less fed.

Um, no.

China has been threatening to withdraw its few billion dollars it give north korea for food and fuel.

The north koreans obtained the fuel for their nuclear weapons in the 90's when president clinton gave them 3 small nuclear reactors in exchange for a single russian reactor that was supposedly more suitable for building nuclear weapons.
