We are not in a war on terrorism. Terrorist were mostly from Egypt, not Iraq. Some were also from Iran, again not Iraq. There was a very small percentage from Iraq. We are not in Iraq to get revenge for those who suffered wounds, family deaths and for those whom actually died. We have no legitamate reason to be there.
Weapons of Mass Distruction? (A crock of crap if you ask me) but either way that has been settled.
Osama Bin Laden? He isn't even IN iraq
Sadam Hussein? We captured him a very long time ago.
Besides it wasn't Iraq as a whole who are against the United States just a small group of extremeists. Thats like saying the United States are full of skin heads.
We want to give them a democracy? This makes me laugh, because what is a true democracy? A true democracy gives power to the majority of the people. Democracy is actually a Greek word made up of two parts. The literal translation of democracy is people power. Are you with me so far? Democracy means power to the people, right? YES good. This idea was developed by the Greeks, though the Greeks used a very prejudiced version the idea is still derived from them. Throughout the years a Democracy has transformed we currently have a republic democracy. and No a republic and a democracy is not the samething. A Republic democracy is when the people transfer their power to representatives who in turn make the political decisions for the people. Still with me?
Now that we know what the true meaning of a democracy is and the type of democracy we use I will tell you why I know that what we are doing with Iraq is hypocritical. First thing, if the people truly wanted a democracy then there would not be people killed in the line to vote. Do not say this is because of Al-Queda, because I have a friend who has relatives in Iraq who say they do not want us here. Second, the idea of forcing the power to the people defies what a democracy is about.
As for my political stance? I'm democratic.

The war on terror is the only way to defeat terrorism, but we have to be willing to fight against it both over there AND over here. Contrary to the left-wing propaganda, Bush has NOT forgotten about Osama Bin Laden. We're in Iraq because Saddam Hussein was ALSO a sponsor of terrorism, and now we just have to deal with those who want to make it another kind of terrorist regime(Pro-Iranian, or Al-Qaida). The myth that Bush forgot about Bin Laden is fueled partially by under-reporting of military action in Afghanistan. That doesn't mean I think he's doing everything right, because there are some Islamo-fascists in Jackson Heights, Queens, NYC that he should round up and send down to Guantanamo Bay's P.O.W. camp.

Number one, I believe we all seriously underestimated Al Queda. Notice I didn't say Bush underestimated them. It's everyone's fault in a way. The government didn't send enough troops to put down the terrorists, and we have yet to have shot Bin Laden.
Number Two, Bush means well but his leadership is poor and while he is doing the best he can overseas, there are problems at home he is not helping. If anything (such as the whole gay marriage thing) he is only making things worse. We need a stronger leader in wartime.
Number Three, I believe we do need to hurry up and get the troops out of there, but Iraq was not a waste of our time. Considering the iron-fisted government, 9/11, and the tensions that have been in that region for decades, war was unavoidable. I, personally, am glad Saddam was yanked from power. We don't need evil men like him ruling entire nations, especially one that has oil that the world relies on. I can only hope Al Queda is broken up, and soon.

First of all, the war in Iraq will do nothing to fight terrorism. One has to be very naive to think all the terrorists are at war in Iraq. How does that stop the terrorist cells all over the world. That war may keep some terrorists busy but it does nothing to the ones hiding and planning their next attack on America or some other country.
If all the troops were here in America guarding our borders, I would feel better served. Let those people kill themselves the way their religion wants them to.
Boosh and his pals have our people over there in harms way for one reason, making money for themselves!!!

If we weren't in a conflict Bush could in all probability be approximately as ineffective as Clinton became. i'm conservative, so a Reagan republican or a JFK democrat. Bush is okay, yet historic previous will evaluate him an stunning president by way of corporation of a professional-western democracy in the middle of the middle east. Bush has helped our usa by using preserving taxes low and thereby assisting the monetary equipment and small corporation. He has helped us stay risk-free by using coverage such by way of fact the Patriot Act and confusing line against terrorism. we are in a conflict precise now by way of fact that's the properly suited element to do for the destiny. If the terrorists get extra effective weapons, extra funds, and extra means than you may discover your self drafted to combat in a destiny conflict against terrorist helping governments which includes Iran. Our militia is all volunteer that's in assessment to earlier wars. We combat now to stay away from hundreds of militia and civilian deaths later. As you grow old you will discover that the international desires presidents like Bush to undo the wear and tear that presidents like Clinton have finished. stay enthusiastic approximately politics and get as knowledgeable as you may so as which you will make knowledgeable judgements whilst it includes politics. stable success

the war on terrorism is like starting a war on evil
how do you win a battle when you can't see your enemy
you might be able to take down one evil entity
but it is soon replaced with another and another
and all the while creating more evil and hatred
it was a war in vain

Oh no, the war on terrorism is just a big joke. Everyone loves us and wants the whole world to be free. They just think we are great and one God is as good as the other.
It's just sport to blow up and threaten millions of people.
Are you "Alice in Wonderland"?

2750 dead Americans, 655,000 dead Iraqi all dead because of a war based on a lie. The war on terror has taken a back seat to the quagmire in Iraq. Anti-Bush. Is it any wonder?
