I would say not a chance, but I wouldnt take it as far as my parents did, they of course did not let a guy be there past a certain time, which was fine with me cause I didnt care for him sleeping over but my mom took it a little too far after I came home from the hospital after having my baby she still wouldnt let him stay the night over being it was my first night out of the hospital, give me a break I was sore and just had a kid not like I was even thinking of doing anything, she did the same thing with my little sister but not as bad.

I recently moved back to California with my son, and needed a place to stay till I could find an apartment in the area. I'm 25 and my mom STILL won't let me have my bf sleep over unless we were married. He lives 1 1/2 hours away, so it's a real inconvenience because I ALWAYS have to do the driving up to his house, just because my mom won't let him spend the night at her house. Lame! But, she's my mom, so I respect her rules, and her house. 18 year-olds don't need to be sleeping over with each other just yet. Besides, do you want your parents to be imagining what you guys are doing all night?

if they have been dating for a while chances are they are already sexually active. I would rather know that they were somewhere safe {at home} rather than out on the streets somewhere. The bf might even be to shy or embrassed to do anything under your roof, but just in case I would make sure they had condoms and that my daughter was on birth control

Nope! Not unless they were married. Sex before marriage is very wrong. And at your age you have no idea what love is. All you want to do is go through the act of sex. Sex is a very loving bond between two married adult people who are married. Again I am teaching my kids that sex is wrong before marriage. And only holding hands and kissing is exceptable in our eyes before marriage. What you and your little girlfriend are doing is wrong and dirty. And you both have really bad parents. What kind of parents allow this to go on??? Both of you are loosers and are really weak people. People that save their selves for marriage are smart and strong!!!

Not unless I was ready for grandchildren. Plus I think it sets a precedent for the boy that you have no respect for your daughter, it's about upper-hand and moral principal I think. I also think that the boy should show the parents that he respects his girlfriend by not sleeping with her under their roof even if they allow it. That would take a big man.

No. It just leads to trouble! Then again.... she's 18... she's probably already done the deed... I would set her down, talk to her, and make sure she's on the pill. But then again... she's 18.. I would have had that conversation with her a long time ago.

Not a chance! If they are old enough to sleep together then they are old enough to get jobs and pay for their own place to sleep at! and, yes, when I was 18 I had my own place and paid my own bills so it was perfectly acceptable for me to sleep with whomever I chose
