Silk Trade grew during the Han Dynasty 202BC-220AD in the first and second centuray.

The slik route spanned 7000 mile through China, Central Asia, Northern India, and the Parthian and Roman Empires. It passed through places such as Chinese cities Kansu and Sinkiang and present-day countries Iran, Iraq and Syria.

It connected todays X'ian city in China and passed through the Yellow River Valley ,Tklaman desert, Pmir knot (mountains), Persia, Mediterranean Sea and Black Sea. It finsihed in Rome.
