This is actually something I've wondered about a lot. I think you phrased it wrong, but I know what you're talking about. I can't be of much help though, as I don't really know of any subcultures outside of America.
And ok lil miss teeny goth we all think you're really cool because you 'don't believe in fashion'... but how can you not believe in it? you can not like it (though you probably do and just like to pretend not to). Do you not care about the way you dress? If someone gave you a Nike T-shirt and flares would you wear them? If not, then you care about fashion. silly little teeny goth.

Goth came from punk, and punk was avowedly anti-fashion. Goth is a subculture, state of mind, and a lifestyle first, fashion second. Go to goth.net and read the site intro.

If you are going to put a title on fashion groups or group them at all, i think japan is the most diverse.
They have Lolita's which dress Victorian style clothing with very crazy makeup.
Theres the British punks who always where something plaid and studded with boots. They label their clothes with British bands.
They have Ganguro girls who have extremely dark tans with very white makeup. They wear chunky shoes, allot of accessorizes and are like the pretty girls in the society.
They have a goth looking group who dresses like their favorite goth bands and usually wear blue lipstick.
There is the japanese school girl look, they wear pleated skirts with huge loose scrunched down socks.
Some of the most original are the Cos-play people otherwise known as fandom, they dress in costumes for everyday wear usually as their favorite anime characters, or childrens cartoon. You can catch them on the streets of harajuku.
Cute or "kawaii" is another group who dress themselves in ribbons, lace and and animal ears like kitten ear headbands. The complete the look with their attitude with hunched backs and pigion toes. they act the part!
other groups include military influences, cowboys, warmono, hip-hop, and reggae. you can look at some of the fashion on japanesestreets.com

i know what you are talking about, you are looking for subcultures, that's the correct term, and you'll find all sorts of things about it if you google the word. but if i'm right, and forgive me if i'm wrong, but maybe you are just trying to feel good about your self for being different, if so, don't worry what you look like so much and just wear what you like, listen to music that sounds good to you and eventually you'll see that you either happen to fit into a subculture, or are your own creation, don't be afraid of what the other goth kids think or anything like that, the only label you need is your name x) hope that helps!!

I don't know if you would really call it a fashion group. Maybe so, maybe not. But in Japan they have something called lolita or lollita. Check the link below. There are lots of different "trends" there.
