I missed that. why didn't he let him play?
Italy won anyway so he couldn't have been too wrong.

Honestly, I think that Del Piero brings a lot of heart to the team. Not letting him play was not the answer even if he didn't have a great second half against Ucraine. I mean really, if we pulled everyone that didn't do well from the team, Donadoni wouldn't have a job any longer. Not to be nasty or anything, but give me a break...he hasn't been any great shakes thus far. I miss Lippi!

Del Piero did very few good game with Italy!!!
Del Piero never return a great player after the injury in 1998, now he is a normal player, near to the end of his carrier, then it's right that he doesn't play in national team!

As much as i like del piero . The italian team needs to find new talet for not only euro 08 but the next world cup . Del piero is coming to the end of his carrer unforunatly .
But we did win and are world champs !

maybe it was. i'm juventina but i belive the del piero didn't play well the 2nd part of the match with ucraina. by the way we are the champions of the world!!FORZA AZZURRI!
